Bwin.party will pay Spanish back taxes

SPAIN -- Bwin.party will pay $42 million in Spanish back-taxes as part of its bid to acquire an online gambling license, Reuters reported. The back-taxes are due according to historic tax laws from 1966 and 1977 which only applied to offline gambling activity in the country, the report explained.
