For everyone, the federal tax forms and regulations will be the same. As far as the state returns are concerned, though, each state has their own rules and regulations for what goes on the forms. For one thing, North Carolina tax preparation will be a lot different than any other state, although this can be said for anywhere else as well. They will also know how to get you the biggest refund possible. If you end up having to pay taxes, they will also be good at making the amount you have to pay as low as possible. If you hire someone to do your North Carolina tax preparation for you, though, it can end up being pretty expensive. A cheaper way you can do your taxes without much effort on your part is to use the computer to do it. You can either get tax preparation software or use an online tax preparation service. Both of these methods are a lot cheaper than getting them done by a professional company or tax accountant. Then you still don't have to do much work on your own.
