Most revenue agencies offer online filing free of charge. Once signed up for an account, many find the programs are not only easy to use but conveniently encrypted, keeping information safe and secure.

Filing online taxes can take little or no time at all, as long as an individual has the proper W2 forms and social security numbers for those they are claiming.
